We get Northwestern here in off a win over Miami Ohio. Duke has won this head-to-head contest the last five times, so NW has revenge and Duke comes in off a win over Elon as 24.5 chalk, and Duke has been improving under head coach Mike Elko, however they only ran the ball for 59 yards on 27 carries last week.

If Duke's run game struggles, especially after only managing 59 yards against an FCS opponent, it could spell trouble against a Northwestern defensive front that returns all four starters. Northwestern's run game was indeed one of the few positives from their 2023 season, and with both starting tackles and the center returning, their offensive line continuity is a key advantage. Gaining 151 yards on 30 carries against a solid Miami (OH) defense was pretty good last week.

We like Northwestern with revenge here as they look to go 2-0, and NW has FCS Eastern Illinois on the schedule next week so this is not a lookahead spot at all for them. Let's roll with NW.
