Irish three losses last four games and 0-3 against the spread since heartbreaking loss to Florida State. They have had the rug pulled out from under them having gone from a playoff frontrunner to minor bowl.

Louisville all three losses were winnable, so they are better than their record. Biggest margin was then they lost to FSU, a game they could have won. Irish should have lost to Stanford and could have lost to UNC and Navy. They are worse than their record.

Louisville outgains foes by 100 yards per game but the Irish only 82. Michael Dyer missed four games but averages 4.6 yards per rushing attempt and is back for Louisville. He faces an Irish defense giving up 100 yard rushing 4-of-5 games.

Cards WR Devante Parker has played just three games but has 25 catches 490 yards for Louisville. They are the better team and in a better spot.
