Major
(NFL) Detroit vs. Cleveland,
Point Spread: -2.50 | -107.00 Detroit (Away)
Result: Win
This how Matt Stafford rolls. When he is playing well, he is a fade. Now off a blowout loss in which they scored just nine points, he will come up with a strong game on the road.

Cleveland won three straight games because Brian Hoyer was their QB. Now they go back to Brandon Weeden, responsible for the winless and pathetic 2-0 start. Yes he played fine taking over for Hoyer last week. But for many reasons, new QBs can have a good short-term effect. He was a change of pace for the Bills who prepared for the more athletic Hoyer.

Then the Browns evened the score by knocking out the Bills QB EJ Manuel. But this week their foe gets to prepare for the stiff Weeden. Detroit and their strong defensive front will have a field day.

Hoyer releases the ball a full 1.5 seconds sooner than the slowing moving and thinking Weeden. This is no small divergence. Yes the status of Calvin Johnson is big. During his record-shattering season in 2012, he often did not practice. We look for him to play and have a big game in a seven-point win.
