Much like South Carolina, LSU is the opposite of long-term perception. They are an explosive offense and suspect defense. Six of their seven have gone over, four by 14 or more, two by 22 or more.

The Rebels are ravaged on defense with injuries. linebacker Serderius Bryant (concussion) and defensive end Robert Nkemdiche (hamstring) are among about a half-dozen defensive players who would likely miss Saturday's game. Bryant leads the team with 55 tackles.

Already without veteran defensive ends C.J. Johnson and Carlos Thompson, few units have been hit as hard with injuries as Ole Miss on defense.
