Point Spread: 3.50 | -106.00 Miami (Away)
Result: Loss
These will be two teams much different than last season. Louisville senior WR Devante Parker is out. Last season, the 6-3, 211-pound Parker ended the year with 55 receptions for 885 yards and a school-record-tying 12 touchdowns.

Remember they are already replacing QB Teddy Bridgewater. New QB Will Gardner played in five games last season during mop up duty for Bridgewater. Gardner was 8-of-12 passing for 112 yards and two touchdowns in his limited opportunities. Also quad contusion to running back Michael Dyer could have him at less than 100 percent. Dyer is an explosive changeup tailback to powerful lead back Dominique Brown.

For Miami RB Duke Johnson is back. Last year he carried 145 times for 920 yards and a 6.3 yards per carry. Miami rode the then-sophomore Johnson to a 7-0 start to the season, setting up a nationally televised, prime-time game against Florida State in which Johnson got hurt.

The Hurricanes would go on to lose three of their final five games, and in three of those games the running backs failed to rush for 100 yards combined. Miami is a much better team in playing with their Johnson. Yes they have a freshman QB but one with credentials.

True frosh Brad Kaaya starts at QB for the Canes. Kaaya was considered a four-star recruit and ranked by Rivals.com as the eighth-best quarterback prospect in the nation. He will be against Cardinals defense, which was ranked No. 1 overall last season.
