The Chisox made it close the last two nights in Arlington, but their faulty offense again couldn't push them over the hump as the latest losing streak reached nine and the Pale Hose once again fall back close to the win pace of the '62 Mets. Unfortunately neither Erick Fedde nor Garrett Crochet are pitching tonight as they have the past two evenings; instead, it's Chris Flexen, and the Hose have lost in his last 13 starts, and roughed up on Friday vs, the Royals, allowing 7 runs in 4 1/3 IP, with wildness (5 walks) a big issue. Nathan Eovaldi wasn't too sharp last Friday vs. the Orioles, either (5 runs allowed in 6 IP), but his previous efforts had been solid, with a 1.29 ERA across three straight Texas wins, and the Rangers don't face Fedde or Crochet tonight.
