White Sox at A's
(MLB) White Sox (CWS) vs. Athletics (OAK),
Point Spread: -1.50 | 130.00 Athletics (OAK) (Home)
Result: Win
Now, the White Sox are officially at the doorstep of infamy, as another loss tonight makes it 21 straight and would draw level with the current AL modern-day consecutive loss record, now held by the 1988 Orioles at 21 (to open the season, by the way!). We don't think it matters who Pedro Grifol sends to the mound after the Pale Hose have been outscored 85-31 across the last 11 of their losses. Meanwhile note Oakland has won in five of the last six starts made by JP Sears, who was at his best last Tuesday vs. the Giants when allowing no runs and only 3 hits in 7 IP of an eventual Oakland win in the Bay Bridge series.
