This qualifies as a mountain of points in the preseason, but the Brownies have often proved worth the investment in the Kevin Stefanski era. Even before Stefanski took over, however, Cleveland was excelling in preseason openers, now having won six of those in a row, and the addition of backup QB Tyler Huntley (a proven August performer in the past) from the Ravens should prove a boost in the preseason, though it will be Jameis Winston, also with much to prove, who gets the start. Stefasnki has also said most of the first-stringers get some work, likely into the 2nd Q. on the other hand, Matt LaFleur has said that Jordan Love will see some live action, but as the night progresses, it will be more of Sean Clifford and likely Tulane rookie Michael Pratt.
