Though they're clear at the top of the NL East and ready to start talking about magic numbers and the like within the next week, this game has more importance than it might seem for the Phils. That's because they're hoping Ranger Suarez can get back up to speed on the mound and be ready to contribute to the rotation in the fast-approach9ing postseason. But in his second start since returning to active duty, he was tagged hard by the Braves last Friday (four runs and five hits, two of those homers, in just 4 IP) of an eventual 7-2 loss. If Suarez continues in that form, the Marlins have a decent chance to stay close here, especially as ex-A's starter Adam Oller has looked very capable in recent outings, allowing just one run and six hits across 11 2/3 IP vs. the Cubs and Giants.
