Though pulling back even with the Mets on Sunday in the race for the last NL wild card, nothing has been coming easy lately for the Braves, who needed extra innings to nip the Blue Jays on Sunday. The Braves offense has been a bit erratic, and Reds starter Nick Martinez could pose a bit of a problem on Monday night as he had one of his better starts the past two months in his last outing, allowing just 1 ER in 5 2/3 IP last Wednesday vs. Houston (though he did allow three unearned vs. the Astros). Mostly, however, note that Atlanta has been trending strongly "under" (7-1) the past week, and Charlie Morton has a 2.53 on the hill for the Braves across his last five starts.
