That looked a lot like last year for the Cards in the opener, streaking out to an early lead over the Bills before wilting in the second half. What hasn't been good value for the last few Cards coaches has been anything to do with the Rams, who dating back to their St Louis have been winning and covering games in Glendale. Eight straight, to be exact, even pre-dating Sean McVay's hire in 2016. Indeed, the Rams are 13-2 straight-up and vs. the spread vs. the Big Red in the McVay era, which also counts a wild card round playoff win in the 2021 campaign, and another win at London in 2017. Puka Nacua's injury isn't the best news for the Rams, but Cooper Kupp is still around as a favored target for Matthew Stafford, and the recent series history has us wondering why the Rams are being made an underdog.
