Paul Skenes has been a revelation for the Bucs in his rookie season. But even with his 10-2 record, Pittsburgh is just 7-7 across his last fourteen starts. Moreover, he's 0-1 vs. St Louis, though he can hardly be faulted after allowing only four hits thru 8 1/3 IP, and the Cards scoring the winning run in the ninth inning. Still, stints of that length are not happening lately for Skenes, whose recent workload has been five, or at the most six, innings.
