The Braves are running out of time to shift back into gear, falling behind the surging Mets for the last NL wild card spot. At 81-69, Atlanta is only a game behind New York, but that looks its only route into the postseason as the Padres and D-backs have pulled a few games further ahead in the race for the other wild card spots. Whoever is on the mound will need more support from the Atlanta bats that have scored only 2 runs across the past two nights in losses to the Dodgers. Meanwhile, the Reds showed a bit more potency on the weekend in Minnesota but remember have recently had "under" streaks of six straight and nine of ten.
