The Astros aren't going to want the Angels to leave town after beating them for a fifth straight time in the past week on Friday night. Moreover, each of those five wins has been by a 2-run margin...the Run Line has been working. Tonight, no reason to be scared by the Angels' Reid Detmers, whose mini-revival upon his recall from AAA lasted only two starts, as he was battered by the Chisox on Monday, allowing seven runs and seven hits in just 5 1/3 IP of an eventual 8-4 loss. Which again illustrates the Detmers pattern, and why he was sent to Sale Lake City in June, and why his ERA is a sky-high 6.08 this season. Meanwhile, Roniel Blanco has been not only Houston's hottest pitcher, but maybe the hottest in the AL, across the past few weeks, as in three September appearances, he's yet to allow a run in 13 IP (one of those a relief stint), and off of six shutout innings vs. the same Halos in an Astros win at the Big A last Sunday.
