Tigers at Orioles
(MLB) Tigers (DET) vs. Orioles (BAL),
Money Line: 110.00 Tigers (DET) (Away)
Result: Win
Unfortunately for the O's, Corbin Burnes isn't on the mound like he was last night in that 7-1 win over the Tigers. Today, the Birds don't have that sort of luxury today with rookie Cade Povich, whose marks on the season include a 2-9 record, 5.74 ERA, and 1.54 WHIP. After winning 9 of 11, Detroit was due a mulligan for last night's 7-1 loss, although it dropped them a game behind the Twins in the AL wild card chase. Reese Olson gets another chance on the hill after getting shelled in his return game on Monday at Kansas City (he hadn't pitched for Detroit in almost two months), so AJ Hinch likely has him on a short leash and pitch count tonight, much like an opener. Remember, however, that Hinch has had success going that route this season. Let's also note that Baltimore has been playing sub-.500 ball for more than three months, only 37-43 across the last 80 games. Play Tigers on Money Line
