Not much of a road trip here for Atleti, just across town in Madrid to the Vallecas sector, where Rayo awaits. Not that the hosts are especially anxious to see Diego Simeone's crew that has mostly dominated Rayo and hits Sunday with much momentum after a rousing Champions League win over RB Leipzig at midweek. Rayo has absorbed some real beatings in this series, rarely scoring goals, and apt to get thumped like Atleti's last visit when Simeone's men romped 7-0 on August 28 of last year at this same Vallecas venue.
