New York has put away Baltimore in the AL East, helped greatly by the O's floundering for better than three months, as they've slumped to 37-45 since their scorching 49-25 break from the gate. Dean Kremer is also at the back of the Birds rotation and off of a rough start vs. the Giants, allowing 5 runs (4 earned) and 7 hits (2 homers) while taking a loss to the Giants last Wednesday. Baltimore has also lost in four of Kremer's last five starts. Meanwhile, Clarke Schmidt is spinning a 1.76 ERA in three starts for the Yankees this month.
