It looks as if Justin Herbert is going to give it a go on Sunday despite his bad foot/ankle which sent him to the sidelines last week in Baltimore. But not even sure Herbert at 100% is enough for the Bolts, who at best have a limited aerial threat (even at full strength), and Jim Harbaugh cringes if Herbert is limited our out of the lineup. Besides, the Chiefs are more apt to slug it out these says and can play a short-yardage, ball-control offense if needed. Patrick Mahomes or not, We saw fewer big plays out of the KC offense last season as Mahomes was content to dink and dunk more often than usual.
