Still, Flaherty's recent starts haven't been all that overwhelming, with a 6.43 ERA across his last three, which includes LA's 4-3 win over the Padres last Wednesday when it was the bullpen which saved the day. That Flaherty seems the most-reliable option in the LA rotation right now suggests the tightrope act that Dave Roberts is attempting in the postseason.
