Things cooled down after the first five innings but still plenty of offense on display in Saturday's Game One as the big bats of Shohei Ohtani and Manny Machado showed up to hit homers before the Dodgers finally prevailed 7-5. Too many hot bats to expect either pitcher to cool them down on Sunday, especially LA's Jack Flaherty, who hasn't been too sharp in recent starts as his 6.43 ERA indicates across his last three outings. Yu Darvish capable of outpitching Flaherty tonight, but like Game One on Saturday, the bullpens are likely to get some work in Game 2, and not sure either is up to putting the clamps on the opposing bats.
