Minnesota at UCLA
(NCAAF) Golden Gophers (MIN) vs. Bruins (UCLA),
Point Spread: -3.50 | -114.00 Golden Gophers (MIN) (Away)
Result: Win
Is this the worst UCLA team since Babe Horrell's World War II-era Bruins of 1943? Not sure which direction Deshaun Foster goes at QB this week with Ethan Garbers apparently back from a foot injury that sidelined him last week, but Justyn Martin somewhat impressing in his emergency start last week at Penn State, but evidence that Eric Bienemy isn't using either properly, running basically the same plays for QBs with different skill sets. True, the Bruins have been in tough with their schedule, losing to four currently-ranked teams in a row, but the loss margin is still almost 21 pg across the last four. ULCA also hasn't scored more than 17 points in any of its five games to date. This is a chance for PJ Fleck to sweep the LA schools after knocking off USC last week, and the best weapon on the field looks to be Gophers RB Darius Taylor, who burned SC for 144 YR last week. It's also Minnesota's first game in Pasadena since the 1962 Rose Bowl against...UCLA, with Murray Warmath's Gophers, led by QB Sandy Stephens, rolling to a 21-3 win. Play Minnesota
