We are trying to think of any reason why the Chargers should be favored in this game. Especially on the road, in a place they haven't won in six years. Though Justin Herbert has had a bye week to rest his sore ankle, he hasn't been moving the same all season. That, however, is only part of the problem for the Bolts this week. Herbert's downfield passing targets are limited these days as Jim Harbaugh has been forced into a ground-and-pound approach featuring JK Dobbins. This plays right into the hands of the voracious Denver defense, which has shut down much better passing games than this one. Pat Surtain II effectively cuts off half of the field from his corner spot, while Riley Moss doing much of the same on the other side., The Chargers look to be truly one-dimensional on Sunday.
