All of that early euphoria for the Hockey Club might be wearing off a bit. After a scintillating 3-0 break from the gate, Utah looked a bit of a spent force on Monday in Newark when getting blanked by the Devils at the Rock, 3-0. Utah had scored a whopping 16 goals in tis first three games, all wins, but that was a pace that was always going to be hard to sustain. And if the scoring cools down, we're not sure Connor Ingram (3-0-0 but a 3.54 GAA and only .871 saves) is reliable enough in goal to compensate if needed. With goalie John Gibson sidelined, Lukas Dostal (splitting time with James reamer) has a clear shot at assuming the top spot in goal until further notice, and helped his cause immensely in Saturday's 2-0 blanking of the Sharks in San Jose.
