So much for a new and improved Tristan Jarry in the Penguins goal on Friday in his return game from a one-month demotion to the minors. Jarry was ineffective once again as the Blue jackets put five past him in an eventual 6-2 Columbus win. As Jarry (5.26 GAA) has been ineffective, and gets another chance tonight from Mike Sullivan, a big edge in goal tonight goes to the Lightning and Andrei Vasilevskiy, who has been posting his usual solid numbers (8-5-1, 2.15 GAA, .920 saves). All indicators are that Jon Cooper goes again tonight with Vasilevskiy. The Penguins have suffered several lopsided defeats and might be picking a bad time to run into Tampa Bay, and likely Vasilevskiy, who was dominant in home wins over the Jets and Devils, allowing just one goal across two games, in front of this road trip.
