This has been a good run in the past two weeks for the Leafs, who seem to be on the uptick with wins in five of their last six as Craig Berube looks to have the team on the right track. Note that this recent surge has come without Auston Matthews, who hasn't featured since November 3 and has jetted off to Germany this week for treatment on an upper-body injury. What Berube likes, however, is his defense having surrendered just 11 goals across the past six games. Joseph Woll is slated to be in the nets tonight after the Leafs have won in his last two starts. Though VGK squeezed out a couple of road wins last week at Anaheim and Utah, road form has not been exceptional this season, and the Golden Knights looked listless in their 5-2 loss at T-Mobile vs. the Caps on Sunday.
