Drexel vs IPFW
(NCAAB) Dragons (DREX) vs. Mastodons (IPFW),
Total: 145.00 | -108.00 Over
Result: Win
It's no real surprise that IPFW is scoring up a storm in the early going, as the Mastodons return most of the producers from last year's 23-win squad. The backcourt tandem of Jalen Jackson (19.8 ppg) and Rasheed Bello (16.2) has thus far been a bit more productive even than a year ago when the pair combined for 30 ppg. Add in one of the Horizon's top board men in 6-8 PF Eric Mulder (11 ppg/9 rpg) and can see why Jon Coffman's side is off and running again, scoring at an 88 ppg clip. IPFW plays at a faster pace than Zack Spiker would usually prefer with his Drexel side, but the new-look Dragons are hitting their 3s at about 39%, and 6-6 jr. wing Kobe MaGee (16 ppg) emerging as a legit go-to threat.
