We can excuse Lindy Ruff for perhaps wondering why he has ridden goalie Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen into the ground when he's had James Reimer as another option. Since last Sunday, the Sabres have won three games started by Reimer, who goes again this afternoon at Cap One Arena, while the overworked UPL was shelled again yesterday by the Flyers in a 7-4 loss. Regardless, Buffalo has only had eight of its last 25 games not reach at least six goals, and even with Reimer, this looks a chance for Alex Ovechkin to make up some more ground in his quest to pass Wayne Gretzky in the all-time goal race (on 889, he's six away from leapfrogging Gretzky).
