On paper this pitching matchup seems to offer some hope for the Braves, but like everything else thus far regarding Atlanta, it might be written with invisible ink. Now, Chris Sale on the mound vs. Dustin May might seem to be edge Atlanta, but Sale wasn't particularly sharp in his 2025 debut at San Diego last week, allowing three runs and six hits in just 5 IP, but with the offense having scored just eight runs in five games, and only one across the last three, Sale might need to throw a no-hitter to give his team a chance.
