David Moyes is winless in 21 career chances at Anfield against Liverpool but he has gotten some results (draws) vs. the Reds and arguably has the more in-form team at the moment. The Moyes hire at midseason has turned into a charm for the Toffees, now well clear of the drop zone and on a nine-match EPL unbeaten run that has momentum building for the move to the new stadium in August. Oh yes, that last Merseyside derby seven weeks ago in an emotional night at Goodison Park (hosting tis last Everton-Liverpool clash), when the "Moyes Boys" demonstrated their new-found resolve in a dramatic 2-2 draw thanks to a (very) late equalizer from James Tokarski, followed by a post-match melee than completed the memorable night. Now we move to the Anfield side of Stanley Park, but Liverpool looks to have lost a little oomph, its European and Cup competitions all without trophies and what looks like an unassailable lead in the EPL.
