Some wild swings of the pendulum thus far for these teams, especially the Brewers, who tied a modern-day MLB record for futility by allowing a whopping 47 runs across their first four games, before the dust settled the past two days in Milwaukee and the Brew Crew won a pair of low-scoring games vs. the Royals. Speaking of low-scoring, that's not a misprint that the Reds lost back-to-back 1-0 games at home to the Rangers the past two days. What's going on here! Cincy allowed only five runs the entirety of the just-completed three-game set vs. Texas yet lost two of those games, but pitching has been a pleasant surprise for new skipper Terry Francona, and Nick Lodolo worked six solid innings (2 runs, 5 hits) while picking up a win vs. the Giants last Friday.
