After overcoming a slowish start and blowing away George Washington in the first round, Boise put up an even 100 on Thad Matta's Bulldogs, with a sizzling 60% FG shooting display. Unexpected big help came from Broncos sixth man Javan Buchanan, who scored a career-high 27 off of the bench, but Boise's big guns are firing in the Crown, with F Tyson Degenhart closing out a decorated career by scoring 20 pg thus far in Vegas, while PG Alvaro Cardenas ran the show and scored 19 vs. Butler. Fred Hoiberg's Nebraska has reached the semis but was helped by facing depleted Arizona State and Georgetown entries in the first two rounds.
