Panthers at Oilers
(NHL) Panthers (FLA) vs. Oilers (EDM),
Money Line: 120.00 Panthers (FLA) (Away)
Result: Win
Perhaps the law of averages will provide some ray of hope for the Oilers to get back into this Finals series. Otherwise, hard to see many positives for Edmonton, which has now lost all four games vs. the Panthers (including the regular season) by a hefty 17-5 scoreline. In these Finals, they've been outscored 7-1 across two games, the offense stuck in neutral as Florida has closed off the center of the ice and forced most of the Oilers' shots to be fired from long range. Whenever a shot does get through, Sergei Bobrovsky is waiting at the gate as he looks to now be the clear favorite to secure the Conn Smythe. The Panthers' scoring depth has also been reflected in Evan Rodrigues, usually operating on the third or fourth lines, emerging as the scoring star of these Finals with three goals already, including a power-play beauty in Monday's Game One that ended the Oilers' penalty kill at 34 straight. With key cog Aleksander Barkov now looking like he might play for Florida after taking that high ht from Leon Draisaitl in Game 2, the Panthers could also have their key man available for their penalty kill (which has also been airtight) as well as flustering the aforementioned Draisaitl and Connor McDavid, neither of whom making their mark on this series. The plus price on the Panthers looks too good to bypass! Play Panthers on Money Line
