There's a bit of history here and some one-time bad blood; it was in the 1982 ALCS that the Brewers rallied from an 0-2 deficit (in the days of best-of-five league championship series) to take out the Halos and advance to their only World Series. We've also just passed the fifty-year mark (we know, we were there!) of a memorable melee between these sides that started when Bobby Valentine charged Clyde Wright on the mound...and that was just the beginning of the bench-clearing shenanigans. To the present, and the Halos return to the Big A, but not sure they're thrilled after recording an MLB-worst 11-23 mark at home. Monday starter Jose Soriano one of many Angels hurlers also performing worse in Anaheim, where he's only 1-4 with a 5.54 ERA. Meanwhile, the NL Central-leading Brewers cross their fingers with Carlos F Rodriguez making only his second start, but the Milwaukee bullpen is deep, and that Halos home mark scares us away.
