Switzerland vs Italy
(Euro Cup) Switzerland vs. Italy,
Money Line: 225.00 Switzerland (Away)
Result: Win
By this point it is apparent that we're not dealing with the same Italy side as was the case in the last Euros. (We weren't in the last World Cup qualifiers, either, when the Azzuri didn't even make it to Qatar in 2022.) No Bonucci or Chiellini or Verratti or Insigne from the last Euros, either, not to mention manager Roberto Mancini. Perhaps Italy's best performer of a choppy first round, Bologna midfielder Riccardo Califiori (who fed the key assist to Mattia Zaccagni for the key tying goal vs. Croatia), is also out on suspension in Berlin. Switzerland has done more to impress in Germany, with Bayer Leverkusen's Granit Xhaka among the best midfielders at the Euros and center-back Manuel Akanji doing what he usually does for Man City. While Gigi Donnarumma gives Italy an edge in goal over almost anyone, it's not too perceptible against vet Yann Sommer (now Inter Milan) in the Swiss net. Play Switzerland on Money Line
