The oddsmakers are once again outthinking themselves here because the Angels are in their best patch of the season (wins in six straight) yet still getting little respect on these prices. Visiting Detroit is being considered a light favorite for reasons that escape us. Not because anything Casey Mize has done on the mound with his 1-6 record, and Detroit 3-7 across his last ten starts. Mize hasn't fooled anyone for a while now as his 5.36 ERA since the start of May would suggest. Detroit has also lost 12 of his last 14 starts. Much rather back the halos and Tyler Anderson who might make the AL All-Star team with his consistent success and 2.63 ERA this season. Play Angels on Money Line
