We wish the Mets would have done a better job last night holding onto a 7-2 lead that became 7-6 before the Rockies ran out of runway in the ninth inning. No matter, another win for New York, happening a lot lately, four straight and 24 of 34, and in an NL wild card position with two more to go vs. Colorado before the All-Star break. Needless to say, the Rockies are struggling, best summed up by Saturday starter Ryan Feltner, who hasn't even pitched that badly in recent starts but nonetheless sports a 1-8 record into Saturday. Christian Scott has pitched also in a bit of bad luck lately for the Mets, too, but that's all relative here, as most of the bad luck involved in Colorado games these days ends up on the Rockies' side.
