We'll head to the Mountain time zone for this one. Air Force is home here, but they've had a miserable go of it during the 2024 season. They're 1-5 this year, and I don't think things get easier on Saturday evening.
Colorado State has been up-and-down. They're 3-3, but two of their losses came to Texas and Colorado, and most recently, they topped a solid San Jose State team 31-24. The Rams dominated that game in the second half, with the defense limiting SJSU to just a single touchdown drive in the final 30 minutes. I think they're starting to come together as a team.
Air Force...not so much. Their loss to New Mexico was their fifth straight, and the Falcons' lone win of the season to date was a victory over FCS foe Merrimack in the 2024 lid-lifter. Yes, they scored 37 points last week, but 20 of them came in the fourth quarter when the game's outcome was no longer in doubt.
One of these teams is headed the right way. The other is not. With that in mind, give me Colorado State laying 6.5.
