Hawaii vs. UNLV: Saturday, Nov. 9th
(NCAAF) Rebels (UNLV) vs. Rainbow Warriors (HAW),
Total: 49.50 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
UNLV flies from the desert to the Hawaiian Islands this weekend to take on the Rainbow Warriors in a Mountain West clash. UNLV is a considerable favorite and should win, but I'm much more intrigued by the total.

We have a sense of how good UNLV is. Their two losses (to Syracuse and Boise State) are both "not bad," and their offense is capable of putting up lots of points in a hurry. Much was made of their starting quarterback departing after the first few games, but the Rebels have rallied behind Hajj-Malik Williams, who's completed nearly 68% of his passes and thrown 12 touchdowns against just three interceptions.

Hawaii, meanwhile, seems to be turning a corner. They started the season 2-5, but have won two in a row, including a 21-20 victory on the road at Fresno State. Nobody will confuse this offensive unit to the ones led by Timmy Chang and Colt Brennan, but the Rainbow Warriors aren't awful at moving the ball.

I think this total is a few points too low. This hits me as a 38-24 type of game, which would be a comfortable win for "over" bettors. That's the side I land on, and I'll be rooting for plenty of offense Saturday night.
