One of Saturday's later games sees undefeated BYU host Kansas. This is a game where I truly do not understand the line, and I hope I'm right.
BYU is 9-0 and coming off of one of the most memorable games we've seen this season. They squeaked by rival Utah 22-21 on a last-minute field goal. While Utah is far from great, that was a rivalry game where BYU took its foe's best shot and came out on top. Their full body of work is solid, and I can't discount that because of a shaky performance last week.
Also...what has Kansas done to inspire confidence? The win last week over Iowa State came out of nowhere. This is a team that lost five straight earlier this season, and one home win doesn't erase all of that. I think they'll have trouble moving the ball against BYU's defense, and I'm struggling to see why the spread isn't bigger.
Take BYU, give 2.5, and explore any alternate lines you want up to about six points or so.
