Marlins over Phillies- Big showdown in the NL East (if you can say that this early) as the playoff bound Miami Marlins who hold that spot by a half-game over tonight’s guest the Philadelphia Phillies. The Fish have had a bad run since the All-Star break while the Phillies have not taken full advantage. Philly’s Taijuan Walker (11-4, 4.06 ERA) has been stellar for the most part but has surrendered 12 runs in his last four starts covering 24 innings. The Marlins (5-6, 4.74) and he is difficult to hit despite his record striking out 90 in 74 innings while giving up just 59 hits. I like MIAMI!
