LA Lakers at Denver 7:30 ET
Lakers (+) over Nuggets- Last season I never thought the Lakers had a shot against Denver and the Nuggets playoff sweep proved me right. This time around there have been changes for both clubs and the Lakers talent level is still about the same but Denver may be another matter. The Nuggets will still have the same starting five take the floor but all of what was their support system has been altered. Bruce Brown and Jeff Green are gone, Christian Braun hasn’t had playing time in preseason and neither has Michael Porter Jr. Last season was a first time ever for Denver to eliminate the Lakers from the playoffs and as LeBron James and his supporting cast meaning Anthony Davis were not pleased by the way the Nuggets acted after their win. At 39 years of age he said that he will be motivated against the two-time MVP Jokic as he watches the reigning winners raise their NBA banner and receive their Championship rings. Take LA LAKERS!
