New York (47-32) trailed Milwaukee by one game entering the Bucks' home game against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night. Boston (62-17) has already secured the top seed in the Eastern Conference and the best record in the NBA. The Celtics are coming off Tuesday's 104-91 loss to Milwaukee, which ended the team's five-game winning streak. Boston was held to 43 points in the first half and trailed by 20 points at halftime. The Celtics became the first NBA team not to shoot a free throw during Tuesday's loss. Boston has won 13 straight home games. After Thursday's matchup, the Celtics will wrap up the regular season with home games against Charlotte and Washington. New York will conclude the regular season with home games against Brooklyn and Chicago. The Knicks are win-less in four games against the Celtics this season.
