Mariners over Cubs- The Mariners' moribund offense finally exploded in the 10th inning Wednesday in Toronto as Seattle pulled out a 6-1 victory to snap a three-game losing streak. The Mariners finished 2-4 on their six-game trip to Milwaukee and Toronto. The Cubs are coming off a 10-2 road loss Wednesday against the San Diego Padres. Cubs left-hander Jordan Wicks (0-1, 4.15 ERA) is scheduled to start Friday against Mariners right-hander Bryce Miller (1-1, 3.00). Miller beat Milwaukee 5-3 on Saturday after pitching seven scoreless innings, allowing three hits and one walk and striking out seven. Miller will be facing the Cubs for the first time. Take SEATTLE!
