Marlins over Cardinals- The Miami Marlins are within one-game of .500 and 3.5 games behind St. Louis for the final wild card spot while the Cardinals have now dropped four of five and five of their lasts seven. They will be starting recently acquired Justin Masterson (1-1, 11.25 ERA) who has struggled this season be it with the Indians or now with St. Louis where he has allowed 10 earned runs on 14 hits in only eight innings of Nationals League work. Hard throwing Nathan Eovaldi (6-6, 3.99) who picked up his first win since June in his last outing will get the nod. Take MIAMI!
