This is a 10* BEATDOWN on the Tampa Bay Rays.
After four-straight wins, I think the Dodgers finally have a letdown here.
LA got the 8-3 win in Game 1, but I look for the deep and talented Rays to respond in Game 2.
The Dodgers' sent one of the best pitcher in the NL to the mound last in Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers' ace delivered the goods with a great performance.
Now the Rays send one of the best pitchers in the AL to the hill to try and bounce back. Blake Snell isn't going to be intimidated by the Dodgers in the least after dominating the Yankees all year. Snell is 2-2 with a 3.20 ERA in the playoffs.
The Dodgers have yet to name a starter, but Game 2 will be a combined bullpen effrot. LA has plenty of depth, talent and experience to draw upon in these situations, but regardless, this is a matchup which highly favors Snell.
Tampa is also 6-2 in its last eight after a loss by four or more runs.
Look for the AL candidate to lay the hammer down in Game 2 with the much superior starter on the hill to begin with!
