(NCAAB) Illinois vs. Purdue,
Point Spread: -5.00 | -112.00 Purdue (Home)
Result: Push
While Illinois has a weak frontcourt, Purdue owns a pair of 7-footers in Hammons (11.3-6.3) and Haas (8.2-4.1) plus the 6-7 Edwards (8.9-4.7). The perimeter game is in good hands as well with Davis (10.7-4.3), Octeus (9.6-4.8) and Stephens (9.3). Purdue lost 66-57 at Illinois back on Jan 21 but Kendall Stephens missed most of theat game, after aggravating a finger injury (note: he was the team's leading scorer coming into that game at 11.6 PPG but is averaging 5.9 points in the 12 games since). However, while Stephens production is off, Purdue had won EIGHT of nine after that Illinois loss, prior to losing its last two. It's HARD to ignore that Purdue is 10-1 ATS since that Illinois loss and I'm liking them as they are playing with revenge.
