(NFL) Denver vs. Seattle,
Point Spread: -4.50 | -110.00 Seattle (Home)
Result: Loss
Play on Seattle. We have a feeling we'll be backing the Seahawks a few times this preseason, as head coach Pete Carroll is one of the few in the league that likes to win early. Seattle has won 11 of their last 13 preseason games, including a pair of perfect 4-0 preseason records in 2012 and 2013. And the Seahawks didn't just win, they were dominant with a number of blowout victories as coach beleive it add confidence to his players.
I dont expect to see Peyton Manning at all here tonight along with several other key starters on offense. Denver does have a new coach, and while we normally tend to back teams in this spot, that new coach theory really doesn't apply to Denver. Usually, new head coaches come in to teams that were coming off a losing season and try to regain confidence. That's not the case with Denver who is expected to compete for a Super Bowl berth and will instead try to get out of the preseason as healthy as possible. Also a nice trend to consider is that is Seattle 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS as a home favorite of more than 3 points since Carroll took over in the NFL Pre-Season action.
