(NCAAF) Virginia vs. UCLA,
Point Spread: -17.50 | -108.00 UCLA (Home)
Result: Win
Heading into last season, UCLA was ranked seventh in the country with a potential first-round draft pick under center in quarterback Brett Hundley. The Bruins ultimately fell short of expectations, as did Hundley, who fell to the fifth round of the draft. Now UCLA will be facing a Cavaliers team that covered five straight to open last year, including a 28-20 home loss to UCLA as 18-point dogs. But they faded down the stretch, failing to beat the number in five of seven. Virginia also dropped five of six straight-up to close out 2014 and has been a very poor road team over the past two-plus seasons with 10 consecutive losses away from home. The Cavs will find it difficult to compete with a pumped-up Bruins team looking to make an early statement. Look for UCLA to name the score here at home on Saturday. UCLA wins by 28 says TonyK
