We roll tonight with little Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners, nobody ever heard of them. They are very underrated and 75% of the public is on GT tonight. They beat CAL, Colorado St, UT Arlington all on the road.
They won the WAC conference regular season title and just missed out on the big tournament. Made it last year and lost to Oklahoma with Buddy Hield and actually could have won that game. This team isn't getting much respect as an 8th seed. Just keep knocking the higher seeds off.
They are 14-2 their last 16 games and
during the season they lost to SMU by 6, BYU by 10, Arizona by 12 & were 1st in the WAC as the regular season concluded. Cal St should be fired up to play at MSG tonight as well.
Cal St Bakersfield plays great defense and is a balanced senior led team. GT is young and playing on a neutral count I give this Cal St team the edge.
