10* NL Game of the Week
(MLB) NY Mets vs. Milwaukee,
Money Line: -105.00 Milwaukee (Home)
Result: Win
The heavy-hitting Milwaukee Brewers attempt to slug their way to another victory when they host the New York Mets on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game set. Milwaukee has won four of its last five, including a series-opening 7-4 triumph in which it belted four home runs to pull even with Washington for the major-league lead. New York has lost two straight and their bats have gone cold. Their Saturday starter Robert Gsellman has a 6.54 ERA, but has been helped with a lot of run support this season. He has allowed 13 runs and 10 hits in 9 2/3 innings on the road so far.
The Brewers Zach Davies has settled down after a rough start to the season and Milwaukee has won his last four starts, including a 6-2 win at Pittsburgh when he allowed two runs on four hits in 5 2/3 innings. The Brewers have won four of their last five while scoring a total of 32 runs. Davis has an extra day of rest and Milwaukee has won six of his last eight starts with five days of rest and we'll take the Brew Crew on Saturday.
